She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Luers, Jr. and Frances Luers; her husband Butch Smith; her daughter Lori Nichols; her siblings, Nancy Phibbs, Sheila Caplinger and Larry Luers; her grandchildren, Angela Nichols, Anthony and Jonathan; her sisters, Vicki Lowe and Janet Phibbs; and her niece Michelle Lowe. She was also cherished by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
