He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Sr. Rhoades and Delores Rhoades; his wife Dorey L. Rhoades; his son Thomas E. Rhoades III; and his sisters, Linda Powell and Lori Rhoades.
He is survived by: his daughter Christina E. Smith; his grandchildren, Bridget Rhoades (Trey Turner), Brooklyn Rhoades, Robert Smith III and Ryann Smith; his great grandchildren, Arianna Spencer, Weston Stewart, Tegan Turner and Kira Turner; his stepchildren, Ashley Sullivan (Steve), Candice Nickell (Justin) and Jeff Evans (Brandi); his sisters, Pamela Hines, Carolyn Davenport, Diana L. Spencer, Janet Booher (Gary), Joyce Hayslett (Jake) and Penny Urban; his close friend Diana Parker Spencer; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
