She is survived by: her son Jeff Shafer of Eaton, OH; her nephew Alan Webb of West Alexandria, OH; her nieces, Wendy Chesney of West Alexandria and Jill Webb Hake (Dan) of Waynesville, OH; her sister-in-law Shirley Eby Webb of West Alexandria, OH; her grandchildren, Brad (Christina), Zach and Kelsie Shafer; her great grandchildren, Kinley and Avery Shafer; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Wendell, Brenden Webb, Audrey, Liberty and Kira Chesney.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Salem Lutheran Church (70 E Dayton St, West Alexandria, OH 45381). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery - West Alexandria (643 OH-503, West Alexandria, OH 45381).
Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton; a scholarship fund in Suzanne's name will be set up at a later date to continue her love and legacy of education.
