She is survived by: her parent Loneta Leona Patterson (Hollis); her sons, Sam Shortes of West Alexandria, OH, Stanley Shortes of Lewisville, TX and Shell Shortes of Tega Cay, SC; and her former husband Samuel Ray Shortes of Lewisville, TX.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
