He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Jones and Gladys Jones (Hall); and his brothers, David and Harold Jones. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Jones (Pratt); his children, Donnie Jones (Kathy) and Judy Bennett (Jay); and his siblings, Virginia Long (Jim), Sarah Pratt (Ray), Bill Jones (Elsie) and Arthur Jones (Ann). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
