He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Artz and Roberta Artz; his sons, Brian Artz and Bradley Artz; and his siblings, Norman Artz and Rhodora Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma L. Artz of West Alexandria; his daughter Kim Monroe (Kevin) of West Alexandria; his grandchildren, Bryant Artz, Jonathan Artz, Jill Artz, Matthew Monroe, Krystin Monroe and Amanda Sandifer (Caleb); his great grandchildren, McKenna Artz, Jaxson Artz and Benjamin Sandifer; his siblings, Donald Artz, Dan Artz (Paula) and Virginia Wright (Larry); and his daughter-in-law Tonya Artz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
