He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Eva (Grindle) and Emmet L. Pelley, Sr.; and his siblings, Donna Mercer, Helen McIntosh, Colleen Rosenlieb, Robert Pelley and Emmet L. "Pete" Pelley, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Pelley (Crowe); his children, Charles Pelley, Jr. (Sandy) of Salem, David Pelley (Michelle) of Geneva, OH, Jerri Smith (Bill) of Lisbon and Terry Pelley of Wellsville; and his sisters, Rose Mary Larbig of Mentor, OH and Joann Turick of Toronto. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
