He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Lee Smith; and his father-in-law Joe Keating. He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Keating Tipton; his son Ian Tipton of Hamden; his grandchildren, Hayden Milliken, Brynden Tipton and Joseph Milliken; his sisters, Vicki Smith of Hamden and Debbie McManis (Kenny) of Hamden; his nieces, Heather Manns (Crit) and Jessica Gardner; his nephew Jarod Huntley; his great-nieces, Lauren Gardner and Kelsey Manns; and his mother-in-law Ann Keating of Wellston. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and friends.
