He is survived by: his wife Peggy Callehan Spires; his children, Raymond, Ronnie Spires, Melissa Spires and Cynthia Zimmerman; and his grandchildren, Lacy Shope (Wesley), Alex Massie (Ashley), Brittany Young (Mitchell), Tyler Massie (Tayler), Nathaniel Massie (Kaylee), Haley Donmyer (Jacob), Samantha Spires, Ryan Milliken and Katie Henry (Kyle). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
