She was predeceased by: her parent Evie Edwards; her husband Jim Burton; her daughter Barbara Burton Ortega; her grandson Charles Ortega; and her son-in-law Charles Raymond Ortega.
She is survived by: her son James D.; and her daughter-in-law Marlayne Burton of Tucson, Arizona.. She is also survived by her many friends and her church family.
