He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Maynard, Jr. and Ruth Ann Darnell Maynard; his grandparents, Luther Maynard, Sr. and Ruth Maynard; and his mother-in-law Ruth Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Elizabeth Harris Maynard; his children, DJ Cantu, Christopher Maynard and Elizabeth Maynard; his grandson Michael Cantu; his siblings, Teresa Dallas (Sam), Tammy Pena (Rey), Kimberly Boyd (Bruce) and Philip Maynard (Angie); and his father-in-law John Harris. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
