With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Ryan Carl of Wellston, Ohio, who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 32. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carl E. Wyatt, Richard Carl, Lynda Casey and Forrest "Dale" Crabtree (Ethel); and his cousin Joey Carl.
He is survived by: his parents, Rick Carl of Wellston and Sarah Wyatt of Gallipolis; his fiancé Ashley Burton of Wellston; his son Damien Isaac Carl of Wellston; his siblings, Brandon Carl (Tasha) of Waverly and Misty Skeens (Matt) of Hudson; his grandmother Iva Wyatt (Jackie); and his nieces and nephews, Paige Mantz, Alyssa Mantz, Caleb Skeens, Jordan Skeens, Matthew Skeens and Piper Carl. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made towards his final funeral expenses directly to the funeral home, through the Matthew Carl Memorial Fund at the Atomic Credit Union or directly to Ashley Burton.
