Marlene Benjamin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2023, Marlene Benjamin (Wellston, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Herold Zoul and Lieut; her husband Lieut; her sister Joan; her brother-in-law Donald Griffey; her daughter Dana Ellen Gilliland; her grandson Alec; her daughter Dr. Holly Joan Rakos (Spiros) of Westmont; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven and Christopher; her siblings, Marjorie Leon (Peter) of Arivaca and John Bruce Goodman (Sharie) of Franklin, Tennessee; her niece Lori; and her nephew Dr. Marc Griffey. She was also cherished by father's, grandfather's, and great uncle.

Memorial donations may be made to the Women's National Memorial, Arlington, VA, of which Marlene was a member and longtime supporter. Marlene also was an avid supporter of the Audubon Society and the Arbor Day Society to which memorial trees may be planted in her memory or donations made.
