It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kim Thornton of Wellston, Ohio, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ardis Marie Wright Thornton; and her grandson Seth. She is survived by: her father Larry Gene Thornton; her stepmother Janet Thornton; her children, Shannon Schissler (Jeromy), Kris Carper (Laura), John Carper (Brittany), Steven Carper (Courtney) and Shelli Goheen (Roger); her grandchildren, Katlynn, Jacob, Charlee, Garrett, Lauren, Braydon, Lillie, McKenlee, Hadlee, Knoxlee, Landon, Brantley, Addilyn, Samantha, Roger and Rhiann; and her siblings, Angie Adams, Jeremy Thornton, Jennifer Wojcik, Julie Opper, Jeanette Cox, Kenneth Thornton and Tracy Thornton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
