He is survived by: his pet Puggy; his wife Jo Ann Turner Rose; his children, Johnny Rose Jr. (Tonya) of Wellston, Rebecca Rose-Robinette of Wellston, Earlana Deal (Jim) of Wellston and Yvonne Luster (Randy) of Wellston; his sister Earlene Edmonds of Iona; and his sister-in-law Dixie Rose of Jackson, Ohio. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.
