He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Bishop, Sr. and Edith L. Whetstone Bishop; and his niece Heather Holtz. He is survived by: his daughter Kristen Yoest (Kevin) of Chillicothe; his sisters, Naomi McCarter of Wellston and Anita Holtz of Flat Rock, Michigan; his nephews, Kevin Tedrow, Josh McCarter and Nathan McCarter; his niece Mandy Jones; his great-nephews, Blake, Sean, Tyler and Josh, Jr.; and his close friend Teresa Barker. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McWilliams Funeral Home (125 E 1st St, Wellston, OH 45692). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the Salem Cemetery.
