He was predeceased by: his brother Billy L. Rice; and his brother-in-law Donald L. Kisor. He is survived by: his wife Janet "Jan" Sue Kisor; his children, James L. Rice of Wellston and Janet Lenoir Rice (Micki) of Richlands; his grandchildren, Austin L. E. Rice (Alyssa) and Jazmine N. Rice; his great grandchild Ezra; his daughter Virginia Edinger of Jackson, Ohio; his sister-in-law Margaret Kisor of Florida; and his child Rocky Point Drive. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
