Greg Yates Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 75, Greg Yates (Wellston, Ohio) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Greg Yates to pay them a last tribute.

As Greg departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Greg. Though Greg may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Granville Yates and Martha Bernice Yates; and his sister Anita Gail Yates. He is survived by: his niece Martha Beth Yates-Flinn (Robbie Flinn).

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the McWilliams Funeral Home (125 E 1st St, Wellston, OH 45692). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
