He is survived by: his wife Viola Roof; his son George D. Roof (Marsha); his stepchildren, Clifford Dillie (Terry), Peggy Hannah (Kenneth) and Sharon Robinson (Robert); his daughters, Gayle Failing, Annette Cisneros, Teresa Cline, Nancy Thompson and Carla Pierson; his grandchildren, Joseph Cliffy, Cindy Dillie, Kenneth Hannah, Katelyn Hannah, Brian Roof, Lori Underwood, Sadie Rowland, Sonya Robinson, Robbie Robinson, Jeremy Thomas, David Thomas, Corey Failing, Justin Cline and Rowan Underwood; and also Kenneth Hannah.
George formerly lived in Wellston, Ohio for many years until moving to Circleville with step-daughter Peggy and Kenneth Hannah so that they together with his wife Viola and grandchildren Kenneth and Katelyn Hannah could lovingly care for him through his long battle with Alzheimers disease until he went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2018.
