He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lantz Compston and Ella Charlotte Wilson Compston; and his brothers, James, Bill, Bob, Jerry and Johnny Compston.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Craft Compston; his children, Shayne Compston (Christy) and Sherry Betschel (James); his stepson Tony Newman; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Sidney and Ashley; his great grandchild Zayla; his brother Tom Compston; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Compson and Karon Compston; and his close friend Pat Henry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Earl Compston Memorial Scholarship at any Atomic Credit Union location.
