It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wayne Rife Sr. of Wellston, Ohio, born in Rutland, Ohio, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hurley Wayne Rife; his former wife Marolyn Lou Rife; his siblings, Terry Lee Rife and Shirley Anderson; and his sisters-in-law, Ernestine Rife and Rita Rife.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Dale Rife (Tina), Charles Wayne Rife Jr. (Walkenda) of Wellston, Roy Shane Rife (Mandy Ross) of Jackson, Valerie S. Gearing (John) of Wellston, Debbie Lou Bales (Michael) of Sumter and Teresa Kay Weber (Jeffery) of Marietta, Ohio; and his siblings, Dallas Rife (Donna), Joe Rife (Jane) of Glenroy, Ed Rife (Anna), Ray Rife of Wellston, Jimmy Dean Rife (Karen) of Oak Hill and Karen Goheen (Roger) of Wellston. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
