He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Ingalls, Sr. and Mary A. Mahle Ingalls; and his son Tom Exline. He is survived by: his wife Merry J. Pierce Ingalls; and his children, John Ingalls (Judy) of Wellston, Chuck Ingalls (Diane) of Jackson, Kathy Ingalls of Albany, Jean Ann Warrington of Wellston, Amy Ervin (Paul) of Jackson and William Exline. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
