He is survived by: his mother Eleanor McGinnis Caldwell; his children, Carl Caldwell, Jr. and Carla Atchison (Brian); his grandchildren, Jenna Brown, Tonta Wright and Brian Atchison, II; and his siblings, Tony (Veronica), Mark (Kathy), Duane, Mike, Jimmy Caldwell, Teresa, Joyce and Elizabeth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
