She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Stapleton and Margaret Alberta Stapleton (Koontz); her husband Cecil Bentley; her daughter Barbara Thomas; her grandsons, Fred Thomas and Jason Crabtree; and her siblings, Richard Stapleton, Helen McPheters, Irene Fyffe, Donna Jackson and Wilma Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Crabtree (Joey), Malchom Davis (Denise) and Johnny Davis (Teresa); and her siblings, Danny Stapleton, Roger Stapleton (Debbie) and Jeraldine Duhl-Cline (Eugene). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
