She is survived by: her husband Rich Groot; her children, Mariah Ann Lamb of Oberlin, Felecia Groot of Wellington and Richard Groot of Wellington; her grandchildren, Alexis Lynn Konst and Parker John Groot; her parents, Alan Nowak and Deborah Nowak of Olmsted Township; and her sister Tamara Jean Swearingen (Mark) of Berea.
