With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Leota Pitts (Wellington, Ohio), who passed away on January 24, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. McConnell and Roena McConnell; her husband Dorrell; and her siblings, Norman McConnell, Howard McConnell and Elsie Wise.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Buchs (Tim), Fred Pitts (Sandy), Sue Pitts and Sally Stewart (Jeff); her grandchildren, Joe (Hannah), Mike (Bethany), Amy (Scott), Adam (Jaci), Lindsey (Chuck), Ashley (Dan) and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Kaycee, Paige, Addi, Jud, Jax, Jep, Parker, Roston and Cason; and her sisters, Ida Clawson and Dorothy Walker.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Dorrell and Hazel Pitts Family Education Fund, through the Wellington Endowment, 305 Union Street, Wellington.
