He is survived by : his wife Diane; his children, Justin Knapp (Krysten), Ursula Virden (Shaun) and Mary Knapp; his grandchildren, Ruby, Hazel and Ellis Knapp; his brother Kevin Knapp (Kim); his niece Lisa Ward (David); and his nephews, Nathan Patton, Zak Bidlake (Kim) and Kyle Knapp (Jamie).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Norton-Eastman Funeral Home (370 S Main St, Wellington, OH 44090). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Wellington Reservation (535 Jones Rd, Wellington, OH 44090).
