It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Courtney Franklin (Wellington, Ohio), who passed away on September 24, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Franklin and Courtney Franklin; and his brothers, Jerry Franklin and James Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Franklin; his children, Mary Hicks, David Franklin and James Franklin; his grandchildren, Amanda and Michael (Tina); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Clorice, Travis, Noela, Michael Jr., Ariella and Ryli; his siblings, Sandra Stanley and LaDonna Foster (Bob); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Franklin and Marcia Franklin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was the vice president of Sons of American Legion where he also volunteered his time with scholarships and always oversaw the presentation of donation checks to Well Help.
