He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Matuszewski and Esther Davidson (Matuszewski); his wife Ruth Matus (McClave); his son Larry; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene, Bessie McClave (Poole) and Charles McClave.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Maiers (James) of Sheffield Lake and Darla Gow (Ronald) of Wellington; his grandchildren, Brittany Gow, Tristan Maiers (Henna) and Taylor Mobley (Joe); his great grandchildren, Gabriel Catalognia and Ezra Maiers; his half-sister Mary Timman (Pat); and his brother-in-law Donald McClave. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
