She was predeceased by: her parent Johnny Pinson; her husband Johnny; her children, Edgar Sword and Peggy Grimes; her sisters, Mattie Harris, Anna Mae Darby, Katherine Jacobs, Alice Francis, Elsie Damron and Mary Farris; her half-brother Ernie Pinson; her grandchildren, Chad, Ava, Joshua, Adeline and Lisa; her great grandchild Casius; and her children-in-law, Kathy Sword, Karen Sword and Kevin Jordan.
She is survived by: her parent Oney Pinson; her children, Russel Sword (Sandy) of New London, Stoney Sword of Wakeman, Anna Russell of Elyria, Patty Gum (Larry) of Goshen, Artie Sword (Jayne), Sandra Jordan, Donnie Sword (Cathy) of Goshen, Debbie Galloway of Wellington, Kenny Sword (Stacy) of Wellington and Melissa Savel (John) of Wellington; and her sister Jean Daniel of Lexington. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren with 3 more anticipated; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Donations in Carrie's memory may be directed to either Christ Community Church or to Well Help, 127 Park Place, Wellington.
