He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Downard and Lucille Downard; and his brother James M. Downard. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sons, David Downard, Darryl Downard (Penny) and Daniel Downard; his grandchildren, Alex and Arick Downard; his sister-in-law Jean Downard; and his nieces, Leslie Evans (Steve) and Lisa Tatone (Mark).
