He is survived by: his wife Rachel (Ross); his sons, Michael Smith (Abigail) and Connor Cook (Michael); his stepson Jeremiah (Britney); his stepgrandchildren, Rosslyn, Elijah and Josiah; his grandchildren, Grace and Patrick Smith; and his sisters, Linda Spreadbury and Caroline Canales. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
