He was predeceased by: his son Donald W. Rathweg; and his siblings, Donald, Russell, Norman, Madonna (Kline) and Shirley (Durbin).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Jane; his children, Debora L. Gibson (Stephen), Walter E. Rathweg, Kevin P. Rathweg and Kristina Castle (Jeffery); his grandchildren, Melinda Jane Beougher (Dana), Stanley D. Gibson, Joshua P. Rathweg (Jenn), Victoria Rathweg, Natalie Rathweg, Mitchell Castle and Joseph Castle; his sister Rita (Dusak); and also Teri Rathweg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
