It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter C. Rains of Waynesville, Ohio, who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha; his son-in-law Mike Whipp; his parents, Garrett Rains and Rebecca Rains; and his siblings, Howard, Joe Rains and Myrtle Phillips.

He is survived by: his children, Duwayne Rains (Sharon) and Sherry Whipp; his grandchildren, Lyndsey Hulen (Greg), Andrew Whipp (Jenna), Aaron Whipp (Sarah), Hilary Morgan (Graham), Elijah Rains (Cosette) and Aubrey Rains; his great grandchildren, Colton, Josey, Wyatt, Liam, Payten, Madeline, Kelton, Savanah, Bennett, Camden and Charlie; and his brother James Rains.

If desired, contributions may be made to the activities department of Quaker Heights and Waynesville Community Church.
