She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Lee Sharp; and her parents, Frank Fortner and Susie Marie Akers Fortner. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Perfetti, Rodney Sharp (Sheila), Sam Sharp (Sonia) and Annetta Atwell (Sam); her grandchildren, Tina, Scott, Steven, Eric, Jacob and Jessica; her sister Retah Fortner Hunt Nelson; her brother-in-law William Randolph Sharp; and her sister Hattie Lolene Fortner Meredith.
She always said that she couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, but had forgotten that with Alzheimers…so she would sing.
