He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Kees Sr. and Louise Kees; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Kees Jr. and Carol Crites. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his daughter Brittany Tackett (Austin); his grandchildren, Collin and Caeleigh; his sisters, Judy Halsey (Jim) and Helen Wilson (Bill); and his mother-in-law Jennie L. Runyon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family member, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McCoy's Place (1130 Gurneyville Rd, Wilmington, OH 45177). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. At the beginning of Covid, Bucky and his family started camping, which was becoming a tradition that they wished they had started years early due to how much fun he was having with his daughter and grandchildren.
Bucky had a very giving heart and was able to help two people see again through the donation of his corneas.
