He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walters and Carol Walters; and his brother Thomas Walters (Linda). He is survived by: his son Marcus Walters (Alyssa); his grandsons, Tucker Mollenkamp (Brianna) and Tyler David Walters; and his siblings, Jim Walters, Dana Walters, Linda Renner, Barbara Mason, Marla Walters and Carol Nelson (Jim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Clark State Community College- Athletics Department for the baseball team.
