With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsa Philpott of Waynesville, Ohio, who passed away on January 8, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her daughters, Kim Slater and Nancy Lebsock; and her parents, Bryon Horney and Georgia Horney.

She is survived by: her sons, Don Philpott and Eric Philpott (Daphne); her brother Carter Horney; her nieces, Yvonne Hamilton and Yvette Seal; and her friend Wilma Grace. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

In addition and If desired, contributions may be made in Lee's memory to the Museum at the Friends Home, PO Box 12, Waynesville, Ohio 45068.

“Just f inding out about Lee's passing this morning. I was so priviledged to know her first at Cranberry Corners and later on when I was doing some history/ research and photos of Waynesville. She and her late husband had a beautiful home and I enjoyed visiting there. Do any of the family still live there? I took some interesting pictures of the house about 20 years ago. Very sad to hear of Lee's passing- I did lose track of her in the past few years. Please accept my most sincere condolences”
