He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Carrier and Alma Carrier; and his siblings, Billy Carrier, Stanley "Cricket" Carrier, Janet Ingram and Vicki McKinney.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his son Heath Carrier (Chris); his grandson Grant; and his sisters, Nancy Patrick, Carol Lucas and Betty Lou Carrier.
