He was predeceased by: his stepfather Daniel Lindesmith. He is survived by: his parents, JoAnna Lindsesmith (McIlvain) and William James Caughey (Judy); his children, Jordan Hendricks, Olivia Colaner (Kurtis), Scott Caughey and Elizabeth Caughey; his grandchildren, Koa, Jace, Emma, Charlotte, Liam, Rosemary, Norah and Octavian; his brother James Caughey; his half-sister Colleen; and his former wife Wendy Hall (Kenny). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Petty Family Foundation and the NASCAR Foundation.
