It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Williamson Sr. (Wayne, Ohio), who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Williamson and S. Eileen Williamson (Anderson); and his sister Patty Burton (Russ). He is survived by: his spouse Kay Ann Clingo; his children, Richard Williamson, Jr. (Viv) of Wayne, Ohio and Meagon Shaffer (Dave) of Portage, Ohio; his grandchildren, Brent Williamson (Stephanie), Brianne Williamson, Andy Shaffer (Stacie), Aron Shaffer (Courtney) and Kyle Shaffer (Alison); and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Spencer, Calvin, Adeline, Cora, Clayton and Sloane.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the family will be having a graveside service open to the public at 11:00 am Friday (May 15, 2020) at Graham Cemetery with Pastor Ron Merritt officiating.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made payable to Barndt Funeral Home and sent to P.O. Box 541, Wayne, Ohio 43466 with the following designation on the memo line to Wayne Public Library or B.G.S.U.
