It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Algeo of Wayne, Ohio, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ealy Algeo and Kathryn Algeo (Harvey); his wife Phyllis Jean Long; his brother John Joseph Algeo; and his aunt Hazel Harvey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Jean Morgan (Bill) of Savannah, Marilyn Kate Wilkins (Robert) of Grandy, NC and Patricia Young (Robert) of Savannah; his grandchildren, Kathryn Gibson, Edward Blum (Carrie), Scott Wilkins, Marjorie Hamers (John), Brian Young (Kimberly), Bethany Young and Christoper Young (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Amanda, JonAlec, Noah, Aspen, Virginia, Kasen, Carter, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Sophia, Raegan and Madison; and his great great grandchildren, Willow, Tristen James (TJ), Ben and Francine.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Savannah Lions Club, the American Legion, or the Ashland VFW.
