She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Tyson and Esther Tyson (Jacobs); her husband John R. Bateson; her siblings, Barbara Baney, Nancy Corbin, Jolynn Tyson, Cindy Tyson, Becky Beard and Tom Tyson; and her granddaughter Joanna Treace.
She is survived by: her children, John K. "Skip" Bateson (Laurie), Timothy Bateson (Sandra) and Pamela Caldwell (Gregory); her siblings, Larry Tyson (Carolyn) and Kathy Balmer (Ray); her grandchildren, Amanda Naus (Mark), Kenny Bateson, Kristen Wolfe (Cody), Sara Johnson (Jason), Tracy Freebairn (James), Ashley Damon (Frank), Megan Awl, Mark Caldwell, Doug Caldwell, Nathan Caldwell, Nevaeh Caldwell and Dominic Caldwell; and her pet Katie. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
