She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey A. Ward and Leah A. Ward (Hartman); her husband Calvin M. Aurand; her son Glenn Aurand; and her siblings, Glenn Ward, Harold Ward, Leroy Ward, Warren "Ray" Ward and Eileen "Dutch" Davis (Seth).
She is survived by: her sons, Eugene Aurand (Karen) of Wayne and Clair Aurand (Irene) of Wayne, Ohio; her daughter-in-law Clara Knapp (John) of Findlay, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Rodney, Carrie, Charlie, Penny and Jesse. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barndt Funeral Home (121 W South St, Wayne, OH 43466). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Albert Bowe American Legion or to the Wayne Volunteer Fire Department.
