It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Armando Cantu Sr. of Wayne, Ohio, born in Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose and Maria Cantu, Sr. (Guerra); and his siblings, Jose Cantu, Jr., Roy Cantu, Rachel Gonzales and Ofelia Villarreal.

He is survived by: his children, Carmella Turnow (Craig) of Lindsey, Amanda Cantu of Fostoria, Armando Cantu, Jr. of Fostoria and Marjorie M. Cantu of Defiance; his close friend Mary Rader; his grandchildren, Cameron Balderson, Camara, Crayton Turnow and Ariana Dupont; and his siblings, Antonio Garza of Chicago and Yolanda Cantu of Bowling Green.
