We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2019, at the age of 104, Aldora Johnston (Wayne, Ohio), born in Bowling Green, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Helberg and Gertrude Helberg (Farmer); her husband Ross C. Johnston; her children, Michael L. Johnston and Joyce M. Carlson; and her siblings, Harold, George, Richard, Ethel Hanifan, Georgia Isaacs, Linda Conrad, Ruby Isaacs, Lenore Escador and Zelma White.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara L. Sanderson (Keith) of New Bloomington, Ohio; her sister Arlene Lobdell of Texas; her grandchildren, Juli Hawke (Dan) of New Bloomington, Terri Virost (Roger) of Texas, Kim Jones (Andy) of Bloomdale, Chuck Bresler (Lisa) of Bloomdale and Doug VanMeter (Michelle) of Texas; her great grandchildren, Amanda Jones, Brett Jones, Sarah Poffenbaugh (Eric), Paul Virost (Brooke) and Megan VanMeter; and her great great grandchild Henry Poffenbaugh.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wayne United Methodist Church, the Wayne Senior Center, the Wood County Humane Society, or the Independence House in Fostoria.
