With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter George Mitchell (Waverly, Ohio), born in Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on May 4, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover J. Mitchell and Anna Mae Mitchell (Rinehart); his siblings, Virgil Mitchell, Elmer Mitchell, John Grover Mitchell and Eileen Kaiser; and his nieces, Anita Poindexter, Joann Howard and Jeanette McGuire.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Hanley of Ft. Worth, Twyla Carter of Waverly and Sandra Peck of Fort Worth; and his sisters, Grace Cook of Waverly, Peggy Smith of Waverly and Alice Kreitzer of Ohio. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
