She was predeceased by: her parents, Erven Barch and Grace Detty Barch of Waverly; her husband Rev. Ernest Ferguson (Richard "Dick" Deering); her siblings, Ivan "Speak" Barch and Juanita "June" Pfeifer; her brother-in-law Hollis Pfeifer; her daughter-in-law Anna Lyon; and her grandson Rohn Sitjar.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Hatfield (Ed) of Circleville, Don Lyon, Dixie Wright (Steve) of Waverly and Mike Lyon of Chillicothe; her sister-in-law Betty Barch; and also Claire Carrier. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, special friend.
