With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Christopher Shafer of Waverly, Ohio, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2024 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Stephen Allen Shafer; and his grandparents, Burhl, Mary Shafer, Russell and Flora Pierson.
He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Pierson Shafer of Waverly; his wife Jasmine Shafer; his brother Douglas Shafer of Waverly; his stepchildren, Logan Kerns of Parkersburg, Hunter of Parkersburg, Savannah of Parkersburg, Bryce of Parkersburg and Kennedy Stephens of Parkersburg; his stepgranddaughter Dahlia Vangordan of Belpre, OH; his niece Lanie Ann Shafer of Waverly; and his uncle Larry Pierson of Harrisville.
