He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Durst and Freda Durst (Wheeler); his son Adam; and his brothers, Denver and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Durst; his children, James Durst (Sherry) and Kim Cobb (Mark); his grandchildren, Brandon Durst (Jasmine), Alisha Shamblen (Coty), Cody Shamblen, Kayla Durst (Donald), Levi Durst, Ryan Ledbetter (Halla) and Ceree Ledbetter (Todd); his great grandchildren, Tristan, Aleczander, Carson, Holden, Kaydnce and Rhys; and his siblings, Kenneth (Loretta), Lois and Caroline (Mack).
